Bright Star has worked
with Framing Our community on a breadth of program development and
strategy related to comprehensive economic development transformation
for our rural Idaho community. Our work together integrates leadership
and board of directors training, environmental restoration, education
access for youth and adults, and diversifying the earning opportunity
for those who work at home and in the woods.
Bright Star is helping
us to expand the capacity of our small business incubator, link
home-based artisans to local and national bricks and mortar and on-line
retailers such as Mary Jane’s Farms (www.maryjanesfarms.com),
build our internal capacity, and recruit businesses into our community.
We work very collaboratively as a team of visionaries to overcome
poverty, isolation from economic centers, and environmental degradation.
